We think about retirement for much of our adult lives, but we rarely think about how we will meet our retirement goals as we approach those golden years. Planning for a great financial future starts with understanding gaps in our plan.
Head into the next few years with a plan that carves out the right path to help you meet those retirement dreams. Your retirement should be the time to enjoy life, not to stress about living.
This COMPLIMENTARY QUIZ is available to help you identify what could be your #1 retirement mistake. Click the link below to receive a customized report and suggestions for actionable next steps.
You want a personalized plan for your retirement
You value exceptional service and expect high-level attention and care
You want to feel confident and prepared for your retirement
You want to minimize your tax exposure
You want assistance with the distribution phase of retirement
You want to work with people you can trust
We believe that, while investments are important, they’re just a PIECE of the type of plan that helps you tackle your bucket list in retirement. In fact, we believe so strongly that clients are being underserved by advisors who lack a comprehensive approach, we’ve developed a proprietary framework and planning process for addressing the FIVE key worlds to a robust, flexible financial plan: Taxes, Income, Investments, Legacy, and Health Care.
Our proprietary planning process is your playbook to winning in retirement.
Beginning a relationship with an advisor is a big step and INCREDIBLY exciting. But, the way we see it, RELATIONSHIP is the key word. Every single one of our client relationships is built on the foundation of trust, mutual respect, and alignment.
So, instead of coming in with the goal of making any decisions about your investments, and in an effort to protect YOUR time, we will focus on ONE Decision: If we see opportunities to help you, do we want to continue the conversation? If so, our team will get to work on building the framework for your Retirement Gameplan.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. This conversation will provide clarity on how our strategy can elevate what’s possible for you, your family, and your goals. We like to simplify the process as much as possible.
Using what you’ve shared, and where we see opportunities, we will provide you with a draft of your customized “BAM Retirement Gameplan.” From there we will have just ONE more item to discuss: “Do we want to work together to bring this plan to life?”
At this point, most clients tell us that they feel RELIEVED and EXCITED about what their gameplan looks like. In advance of our third meeting, our planning team will have already put in up to 30 hours of work assessing your risk, fees, and creating recommendations to finalize your Retirement Gameplan.” This is when things get really fun – we begin to implement the plan.
The fourth and final meeting for onboarding in the BAMFam is where we deliver your plan, set the cadence for the rest of the relationship, and CELEBRATE the first day of the rest of your lives.
Worried about paying too many taxes during retirement?
BAM can show you ways to potentially reduce your taxes in retirement, keeping more money in your pocket and reducing the impact of taxation on your retirement portfolio. Tax planning in your retirement plan is a foundational piece because it’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much money you keep!
Will you outlive your income during retirement?
You don’t have to, but you do need an INCOME PLAN. An income plan is designed to ensure that your desired income comes in a way that is predictable, attainable, and not over-reliant on the stock market. Creating your income plan begins with a Risk Investment Analysis, or simply, a stress test. Do you know how much of your portfolio is subject to risk? Our philosophy for the income plan is “Protect the income, invest the rest.”

Nick Nunu left his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to Denver, Colorado in 2016. A Fine Arts major at The University of Utah, Nick was surprised to find himself drawn to the world of real estate and alternative investments, which sparked his interest in the world of financial services.
Nick has more than ten years of world-class customer service experience and enjoys providing exceptional support to all clients. He spent three years working at a local, self-directed IRA firm as the client relations manager, and grew quickly into the position of asset management coordinator. Nick’s exposure to alternative asset investing was exciting however, it was in this position that Nick noticed a gap in the client experience—specifically the need for structured and sound financial advice.
Working with an independent advisory firm without proprietary business obligations was an intentional move and selection for Nick. Knowing that every client is unique and deserving of a plan specific to their unique needs, goals and values, Nick knew he wanted and needed to be in an environment that also supported this ideal and put the client first.
Outside of the office, Nick enjoys reading, hiking and adventuring with his wife and their dog. They are an exciting bunch that loves exploring new areas and learning new things!
Nick currently holds his Life and Health insurance license, his Series 65, and is a certified as both a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) and as a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA).
